Default Product Variant Gets Added to Cart

Hey all,

We have an issue where the first listed default variant on our product page is the option loaded in the cart. i.e., selecting a shirt size L, but when you add it to the cart, it shows size S.

Here is a video showing the same issue but on a more complicated product using a 3rd party app for advanced product variants. The 3rd party app loads properly, but the native Shopify variant "Type" has the same issue listed above.

Most probable conflict with JS.
Once try to revert the custom change you did in the theme or the apps you installed recently.
