Direct Integration for MOTO transactions

Hi All,

My apologies I've sent this request to the wrong place, but the AI chat bots seem to send me all over the place.

I'm a software engineer and I work for a company that specializes in capturing card data over telephony (MOTO transaction). I have been asked to see if we can directly integrate to Shopify, but it's unclear looking at the various API's which one to look at.

We are not looking for an app or to offer an app to anyone, but instead have the ability to send the captured card data directly to Shopify. Normally we capture the card data and send it directly to Adyen, Worldpay, Stripe, Chase or whoever the merchant's Payment Gateway might be and handle the response. But in this instance, it would appear that we would capture the card data and then send it to Shopify for then to send it to Payment Gateway and the just return the response to the merchant.

As I mentioned these transactions are MOTO transactions, so we are handling live telephony calls. We are a PCI compliant company, so we have the ability to handle raw card data.

Ideally, I would like to avoid GraphQL, but if that is the only approach, so be it.
