To share some insight, there are various types of discounts you can offer customers including an amount or percentage off, free shipping, and/or buy x to get y. While this does not extend to volume or tiered discounts, you can check out the Shopify App Store to achieve this.

Additionally, I'd recommend getting in touch with the app developers directly. They will be able to provide clarification on an app's capabilities and confirm whether or not the app will fit your shop's needs.
