We are trying to add the DKIM record for GSuite to the DNS in Shopify (Shopify is hosting the DNS). When we try to add the TXT record we get the error:
Value is too long (maximum is 255 characters)

Hello!
Thank you for reaching out to share your experience. It looks like you've encountered the common issue where Google automatically generates DKIM records in 2048 bit, a format which unfortunately isn't supported by Shopify. To resolve this, when generating a new DKIM record through Google, you'll be prompted to select either 1024 or 2048 bit. Make sure to choose 1024 bit. Once done, you can add the new TXT record to your Shopify domain settings. This should successfully authenticate your email in Google Workspace.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Happy selling!
Best regards,
Jan S.

I was unable even using 1024 key. still facing the issue
I am still having this issue. The 1024-bit key generated by Google is still too long when entered into Shopify TXT record. Please help!
The 1024 bit is still coming out to 410 characters. Also when I try to split the DKIM record with quotations and a space between the two. Shopify is still showing the same error message.
