Hello, I’m desperate at this point to reach out here. I previously subscribed to Shopify for over a year before having my website taken down. At this point I was unable to release my domain name given no access. I then received an email saying my Domain Name was being “locked” for my own security. I’ve since reached out to Shopify support more than 7 times and now have two support cases open, pending “operations” to release it. I’m not sure who to reach out to at this point as I keep getting the same response from Tier1 support telling me to hang in there while they escalate my tickets up the chain. PLEASE HELP!

Since this is an account issue, even though it is not ideal, the best course of action is to keep an open communication with Shopify support team as they are the only one that has a better view of the status of your account. If you have a pending or escalated ticket with them, it is advisable that you follow-up your case via live chat instead of email as your ticket will go further on the queue.
