Hi there,
I have transferred my domain from Squarespace to Shopify and everything went well. I also got all the relevant emails to complete the transfer etc. But now my website doesn't work and Shopify says that there are multiple errors. (see screenshot attached).
Can someone please explain me in an easy and simply way how I can solve this problem?
Also who's my DNS provider now that I've transferred it to Shopify?
Best,
Ismail

Hi @Amsterdammornin ,
Since you have transferred your domain from Squarespace to Shopify your DNS provider will be shopify itself . You will manage all your DNS setting into shopify admin itself.
Currently the issue is that you have to update and confirm your DNS setting with Shopify .
Please follow the below steps:
Go to Your DNS Settings in Shopify
In your Shopify Admin, go to:
Settings → Domains → amsterdammornings.com → DNS Settings
Step 2: Check and Add the Following Records
A Record (for root domain amsterdammornings.com)
Type: A
Name/Host: @
Points to / Value: 23.227.38.65 (This is Shopify’s IP)
CNAME Record (for www.amsterdammornings.com)
Type: CNAME
Name/Host: www
Points to / Value: shops.myshopify.com
Once DNS is correct, you can set your primary domain to either amsterdammornings.com or www.amsterdammornings.com, depending on your preference.
This will connect your domain to your Shopify store correctly.
Thanks !

Hi Steven,
Sorry for my late reply, I just see this message now 🙂
I still need to get used to following this community page. It somehow worked thanks to a friend's help without needing to do these DNS updates. Somehow, I'm just not yet sure how it worked.
Thank you for your help!
Best,
Ismail
