I have transferred my domain name resonatebyemma.com to Shopify but it doesn’t come up in the domain settings page and when trying to resolve the issue it says SSL pending, digging it further it says the A record is not pointing to Shopify. How can I rectify this issue?

You mentioned that you transferred your domain name to Shopify, to clarify - did you move the domain hosting to Shopify? Or is the domain still hosted by a third party?
I am seeing issues with the domain on my end as well and it appears that there is some kind of problem with the domain propagating it's DNS. If you moved the domain hosting to Shopify and are still experiencing these issues you will need to contact our authenticated support team for further assistance. To access our authenticated support, please follow this link: Shopify Help Center. Open the AI chat window and type "Contact Support" to get started. They will investigate, and they may be required to escalate to our technical team for further support.
