Hi Shopify Community,
I'm after some help with a slight customisation on the product page template liquid. My client is using Venture Theme - an older Shopify theme, but it's still working well.
Background: My client is UK based and sells both new and used items on his store. New items include VAT (tax) at 20% if selling to customers in the UK. Used items do not have VAT/Taxes.
On new items (those including taxes) we wish to state "including VAT" after the price on the product page, however, this will be conditional and this will only display when the item has the checkbox ticket for "Charge tax on this product". If there is no tax charged on the item, there is no need to display the "including VAT" label.
I'm aware that it is possible to modify the product page template liquid to adapt. Has anybody achieved something similar?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
