Editing shipping type after order is generated

Is there a why to edit a shipping type after the order is generated.  It is not yet paid or fufilled but we have many customers who call to change shipping methods, even addresses and what not.  It seems counterintuitive to have to make a new order to make a simple change like that.  Anyone?
