Ella theme: removing duplicate collection product URLs for SEO

Is there anyone out there who is familiar with the ella theme and could help me identify which line of code I need to remove in the liquid files to remove the duplicate collection product URLs?

The lines of code aren't the same as provided in this guide and many other guides on the web.

For example, when I click a product within a collection, it links to:
domain.com/collections/collection-name/products/product-name

when ideally, I'd like it to directly link to: domain.com/products/product-name
Thus removing the duplication issue for SEO purposes.
