Hi,
We use ahrefs to run a weekly site audit and this week it's suddenly showing that we have 3000 http to https redirects, whereas before it was just the homepage.
Basically it's every page on the site, including cdn files.
Obviously, the https site should be the dominant one and it's been years since we went to https, but these redirects come with a security risk..
So does anyone know if anything has changed lately to create this issue? We haven't made any changes to cause this, as far as we know, so we can't see how to fix this..
I have the same issue as you, and still haven't found a solution. Please if you found a solution to that problem, hit me up. I'll search for a solution as well.
Thank you
Okey dokey, will do. I'm going to create a ticket with Shopify and see what they say.
Edit: the live chat guy started to ask if wpm were redirects from any apps that we installed lately 🙈 but now it's with the technical guys, so hopefully they will fix it, without making it worse!
In the end they said it was the SSL certificate renewing. Since then we haven't had the problem again.
