Hi Team,
I have received an email on Feb 29th about my shopify domain expiring. I was going through some hard time and was not able to renew it at that time. Im ready to renew my domaine but when I try logging in using the email that I used for that domain, it is asking me to create a new account. It was many months of hard work to set up my website and was wondering if I can reactivate my account and find back the data. Please note this user’s email is not associated with the domaine I had but if anyone can reach out to me using this email, I can surely let you know the email that was associated to my domain. Or please let me know what steps I have to take to retrieve back my data. Thank you so much!

Since this is a deeper domain issue that needs your account to be checked, it would be best to reach out directly to Shopify support team so, they can further check the status of your domain on their end and see if it still renewable. They will be able to give further details regarding this and steps on what you can do.

We're unable to authenticate users here in the Community, so I'm not able to access any information related to any specific accounts or this domain in question. With that being said, you can use our 'Recovery Tool' to see if you can track down the account the domain is connected to by testing out different email addresses that may have been used with the account in question. This can help you login to the account, and get it back onto a subscription plan, so you can access your domain and move it to a different domain host, if you like!
