Facebook metateg code is not adding to the store

Hi all!
I'm adding the facebook metateg to my store code, saving it but nothing happens – it's not appearing. When I open the web store itself, then click View Page Source – the line is not there! However, when I check the store code inside the shopify admin – the metateg is there.
So facebook can't verify my store, obvsiously.
Any ideas?
