We commonly curate collection/blog/page descriptions in a text-editor like Microsoft Word, then paste it into Shopify.
This naturally copies over certain rich-text HTML attributes such as <p data-mce-fragment="1"> whereby the "data-mce-fragment="1" is not needed.
When editing the HTML in Shopify collections, we can use the CMD + F feature to quickly find and replace text as shown in the screenshot below.
This find-and-replace feature works great when editing the HTML of collection pages; however, it is currently not available when editing blog posts or regular pages. Will this function be added to the pages other than collection pages, such as blog pages and regular pages? If not, are there other apps that provide this function as it would save me lots of time?
I'm currently finding that this stopped working on my Shopify. Does it still work on yours?
Mine also quit working and I'm trying to figure out why. So far, no luck.
Okay, so it's not just me! I hope they fix it soon because it's quite annoying to have to use Word.
