Fix product variants not adding to cart "add to cart" Button greys out

Hi please help, It has probably been asked before so if it has could you point me too it.

when you try to add some variants in my store the proceed or add to cart button greys out. It won't allow anyone to add anything to the cart once you move from the original setting the page loaded on.
You cant even go back to that same setting when you have moved because it greys the add button on all of them.

Messed up and lost a few orders trying to get around it. 
Everything is fine in the product and there is stock so i cant figure out why it wont allow variants to be added
