Hello, I allow myself to ask advice as I just started using GemPages in addition to setting my Shopify account.
I've created a template to be used for all my product pages however, the content from specific parts (either heading, text block or image) of my Template should differ from one product to another (for example, the specified dimensions within the "dimensions" text-block I created in the template should be different for product 1 and product 2). The problem is that when I add a text block, heading, image or such in my template, I need to fill these in with some kind of content and this content always remain the same on all product pages. I cannot customize this part depending on the product. How can one template be used to reflect the variations between the products from my e-shop? Am I using the template in the wrong way?
I am also wondering if the different parts/sections I generated from my Gem Pages Template (text block, images etc...) should appear in my Shopify back office where I create the product pages for my e-shop? I don't see any option to directly fill in the content of these sections/blocks from my Shopify back office.
I hope my inquiry is clear enough. Many thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this matter.
Hello @snb94
I can understand that you are striving to apply one template for multiple products however they look all the same on the live site then. GemPages basically can achieve it yet with some proper settings for (P) elements inside the Product element and it normally can be found here: https://help.gempages.net/articles/assign-products-to-page.
Unless it works, could you help to drop us a message to our live chat support channel so that we can better support you? Just log in to our App and find the chat icon at the bottom right of the screen. Our team will surely get to respond as soon as possible and help you out at ease.
Thank you for the cooperation and I hope the answer helps.
Best regards,
GemPages Support Team
