Google & Youtube app, product listings and analytics

I recently started working with a client and would like to use google analytics to track data. I followed the directions to add my analytics account to their shopify site, however I found they already have an account associated with google. The email listed  has an error message saying its "lost access to the google and youtube app". 

I want to be able to sell via google as well as use my analytics account. Im concerned that by removing the currently store owned email it will impact the product listings on google. 

Ideally what id like is to have the google account associated with shopify to be client owned, so they can continue to sell online, BUT have the analytics directed to my analyt
