Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels
We are working with an existing Shopify website and the Google Analytics added to the site. There is an existing Google Tag manager code in the present, Live site.
We are using a new theme for the staging site.
When publishing a staging site with a new theme and codes, should the Google Tag Manager code, or any "special" Google Analytics code be placed in the code of the staging site before it's published?
Or should we publish the staging site 1st and then add the Google Tag Manager code?
Hi,
You can publish the new theme and then add the Google Tag Manager Code.
Let me know if you need more assistance regarding Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, as our company has experts available to help you.
Thanks,
