Google Merchant - add 2nd Store

Need advice, please.

I have my Main website clothing store connected to my Google Merchant Center.

How do I add my 2nd website store (general store) connected/linked to my Google Merchant Center?

Can you have more than one store linked to your Merchant Center? or do I need to create another new Merchant Center account?

been a while since I connected my website to my Merchant Center account so can not remember how I started it off.

Just an FYI, to prevent any potential suspensions.

Generally Google expects 1 business / merchant = 1 account / website.

Creating another website, may put both accounts and websites at risk for a suspension.

However, if you want to try (which I would highly not recommend) is to first migrate to an advanced account, explained below:

why is only one store allowed?

and how would I have ads or run a campaign on 2nd website when they only allow one?

how do you go about this, i don't get it 🙄

Because multiple websites can abuse the ad network with targeting the same or different products for the same search term. Even if there is a small chance this can happen or not at all, it can happen in the future, and Google needs to protect the ecosystem.

just a question, is it possible to remove 1st website store and replace it with another store new{domain] to have only that one as the main one?

if so how easy is would that be and what best way to go around that?

If you are not suspended, that should be ok. And if all the steps are done correctly.
