I'm using the Dawn theme v15.1.0.
When I run any of my site pages through Google Page Speed Insights I get this error:
"Document does not have a meta description"
However, when I view source for any page in my browser, there definitely is a meta description tag and it's where it should be - inside of the <head>....</head> tag. There's only one instance of this tag.
Example:
<meta name="description" content="This text describes the topic covered in this page.">
Why am I getting this error from Google Page Insights if the tag is included in the correct place in my HTML code? And how do I fix this?
Thanks for any/all assistance.
I posted a solution for this here:
