Hi Guys,
I was setting up Google in my clients Shopify store, since I saw this new feature connecting to Merchant Center. This is all very new to me and however the setup went easy, I now have all these publication issues that sound like Greek to me.
Hi @IMYOURGIRL
If your client is selling customized products/white-labelled products - anything under the own brand, you don't need the barcodes. Barcodes are meant for products sold by manufacturers who have bought official barcodes.
If your client's products do not have barcodes - you can set "identifier_exists = no" in the product feed in Google Merchant Center. My video gives step-by-step instructions -
For missing value Shipping, you need to either:
1. set up Shipping rules directly in Google Merchant Settings. Make sure Google (app) settings is set to: Manually set up shipping information in Google Merchant Center
2. or set up in Shopify Shipping settings for Netherlands. Make sure Google (app) settings is set to:Automatically import shipping information
Hope this helps!

If the product has no barcodes, then the rule is to remove brand, mpn and set identifier exist to no. Which you can do using feed rules in Google Merchatn Center, following: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyvilyMb2Bo&t=203s
For missing shipping settings, simply add your shipping details here: https://merchants.google.com/mc/shipping/services
