Hello,
We have encounter with the repeating problem, the Google Search displays pages not created by us with a meta description that consists of some weird characters, so what happens is when we search our store in Google Search and type "techoboom" (the name of our store) it lists collections or pages that we never created, those products though that are under these collections they are all having "techoboom" marked as the vendor in their detail pages. If that`s the case and the problem with that the products that go by a vendor name are found by Google Search Engine bots and then somehow unite them into a collection, then how to fix it or remove it from showing in Search Engines?
See image below - where it says "6 products" - then see meta under this search result (collection)
Note: we cannot leave vendor blank, and we use our brand name for products that have no brand names or products that have our logo on it, we do not want to create separate collection for these products we just want to keep them in the All Products collection.
This how the page looks when you click 6 products button.
See images below please
Since you've mentioned vendor I'm guess this is a vendor url that looks something like /collections/vendors?q=somevendor
Has your theme/code got things in place to accommodate this type of url> Perhaps you don't have descriptions or relevant meta tags in place so google is guessing. Google always makes the decision on what to show even if you have that content in place but if you don't you are certainly guaranteeing it can't use them.
