Hello,
Our ad agency wants us to continue using Universal Analytics for some reason, even though it will be phased out next year.
They gave us some suggestions on specific page tracking events but it's a little unclear where to plug in the gtag() javascript.
One example is the product view event. The API documentation gives some example javascript, and I assume it needs to be implemented as an onclick event when the user clicks a product to take them to the product details page, but I am not certain.

This is just one of a handful of events we need to implement, however. Does anyone have any experience working with these page tags and the Shopify liquid templates and who would be able to help?
