googleads.g.doubleclick.net

Hi there.
I'm having an issue with above referral and I don't even know where to start to resolve it although I've searched everywhere...
I started my shop about a month ago but for about a week now I have started seeing a lot of traffic marked as googleads.g.doubleclick.net. this traffic comes from USA mainly but also few other countries. I am based in UK and targeting UK only. I do have a automated Google campaign which looking at statistics work as it should. But when looking at reporting on Shopify I'm getting much much more traffic with this referral and most of the time to a single product. It does look to.me like it is a spam of some sort. I don't know. Google is being awkward about it not willing to even explain what it is. How do I get rid of this false traffic ? Any pointers would be great. Counting on your wisdom people 🙂

We're having the same problem with our shopify we're getting a lot of odd traffic from India, Singapore and other countries wher we don't advertise. The sessions are really short on average, around 20s and they all come from referrer source: googleads.g.doubleclick.net. This is impacting the site metrics and is also quite worrying. Did you get any response or any way to remove that fake traffic?
