Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels
I am currently developing an app that makes changes to the storefront. All of the data is stored in my database and everything works fine so far.
However I was wondering how I should handle the settings that can be made within the theme app extension (or app blocks).
Within the app block settings you can also give the users the opportunity to make some changes, but those changes are not saved to the database. I don't really understand where those changes will be saved either but to me it seems like the settings from the theme app extension are not able to communicate with the app itself.
What is the best way to handle this? I don't think it would make any sense to handle the settings at two different places.
How do you integrate those app blocks within your apps?
thank you very much
