Have I had a spam email?

I’ve received the following email and I can’t 100% work out if it’s spam - which was my first thought. The email came from admin@mail.shopify.com.

any ideas? I have of course logged in and everything looks fine on my accounts

Dear Account Owner,

My name is Harper, I am reaching out from Shopify's Account Security team

We've had some trouble verifying your account information so we have paused payouts to your bank account until we can verify your details. Until you help us resolve this issue, we've temporarily limitеd what you can do with your ассоunt.

What's going on?

We have recently reviewed your usage of Shopify services, as reflected in our records and on your account. We face a problem in the ownership of the account holder and we need you to re-соnfirm your ассоunt infоrmаtiоn.

Regain access to your account:

We have sent you a link which contains all the necessary steps in order to get your Shopify account fully up and running

verify account (click button)

Once the verification steps have been completed in full, we will be able to assist you with regaining access to your account and inform you of any other actions that may be required.

 If you don’t provide the information, you may lose the ability to accept payments on your store and you won’t receive your payouts.
