Hi @Anlye
Like other commenters mentioned, they're 2 different services that run on the same engine (Lighthouse). So it's not uncommon to see a variance in scores across different analysis tools. For example, I also ran your homepage through the Shopify Analyzer. It's a free tool our team built to specifically analyze Shopify websites. Here's your full report: https://analyze.speedboostr.com/result/fyq2zyf8dh.
It looks like you're scoring a B, with the biggest optimization improvement being the application of image compression. This is a pretty good score overall and your site seems to be performing quite well. When I view your Desktop score on Page Speed Insights, it shows scores between 76-79. This is closer to the score you're getting on GTMetrix since they also run their tests against the Desktop version of your site.
I'd recommend reducing oversized images and using tools like TinyPNG and Crush Pics to compress them. This may help improve your PSI score even further since it's currently showing image sizing warnings.
I hope this helps! If you need any further help with optimizations, feel free to reach out to our team at speedboostr.com/contact.
They are different services, using different tools, different metrics, and tested at different times. You should expect some variance between them but that doesn't stop either being a useful guide to start conversations or thinking about where possible improvements could be made.
Was there a specific issue or speed concern that you have that we could go through?
Hi @Anlye
Aibek is here from Speedimize.io agency.
Gtmetrix has been updated for a long time and they are using an updated version of Lighthouse. Google Pagespeed Insights (PSI) also uses Lighthouse https://gtmetrix.com/blog/welcome-to-the-new-gtmetrix-powered-by-lighthouse/
The main difference is that Gtmetrix checks the Desktop version of the site by default http://joxi.ru/eAOlXkZu9zZ1or. Usually, the evaluation of the desktop version is always much higher than the evaluation of the mobile version for a number of factors.
Desktop version via PSI http://joxi.ru/ZrJNa36IwG6VBr -score 79
Via GTmetrix http://joxi.ru/YmE8WL4SwK34pr -score 78
Almost the same result.
But the mobile version via PSI shows us 39 http://joxi.ru/Grqzb3Qs4W6oNm
Hope that explanation were clear.
thank you very much for test my site, why i test on my desktop only get score 31 when test on google, you get 79,it is because i am outside USA?
Hmmm, that's strange!
We're also located outside of the USA. So you need to try again.
