Hello everyone! Handling two inventory types?
I'm trying to solve this issue: Our products are individually made to order. However, we have sample pieces in stock that can be taken immediately. My goal is to have the made-to-order inventory be "infinite," meaning it can be set to "don't track inventory" or "infinite" status. Additionally, I want to have a separate inventory where I can input the ready-made pieces, which Shopify would track.
The ultimate goal is to display "Ready to ship" for those products where we have a physical sample piece in stock, and "Made to order" for those that can be ordered but aren't in stock.
Phew, I hope this makes sense!
Thank you in advance for any responses that can guide me towards implementing this solution!
