I need help with this store problem
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to create a Shopify store to sell E-books on, but the problem I'm facing with using the apps on the website, is that when someone purchases an E-book, it's sent to them via email, where they can download the PDF file. Now that is an issue because they will be able to share it around to others without the need for them to purchase it again.
How do I prevent that? Any ideas are appreciated.
What I have in mind is a way to prevent people from downloading the file, by allowing view only, or maybe the product being available on the person's profile to view it whenever they want without actually downloading the book.
Thank you so much!
Thank you,
I couldn't find an app called PDF Viewer by Elfsight, but I found something called Elfsight File Embed, It does show the pdf file without giving the option to download it, which is perfect, but how do I make it so that this appears only to the customer's profile, after he purchases the E-book?
I also tried Sendowl's app, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but it seems to me like it has the same issue, which is sending the file on email to the customer and then they can download it and share it around.
Thank you again for helping me, I'd appreciate it if you can further assist me on this matter.
