I know you can set automated away messages outside business hours. But is there an option to hide the Chat button outside these hours? That way the customer can only chat if we're open.
this would be helpful if we can get this as an option!

Is this something we can hire a developer to do via the code? or will Shopify not allow that?
Allright, This is what I did to the site I manage. My work-arounds.
1) I added an "instant answer" into Inchat. Explaining the hours our chat support is available.
2) I went into our chat greeting message and restated when our support team is available to respond to chat requests.
