Hi. I was trying to add a custom field to the checkout page so the client can add an additional information of the billing for me, like the code of his company (not the name of the company option that comes by default by shopify, but the official number registration of the company [i dont know how this works in the United States, because im talking from the method of registration from Paraguay], to make the billing). It isnt anything special, is just a text field that says to the client to input this specific company code
oh sorry checkout page customization allow only shopify plus plan but you have add Custom Field
please try this Shopify UI
Hi @hdmrelojes
Adding a custom field at check out isn't an option within your Shopify admin except you are on the Shopify Plus plan.
Alternatively, you can consider using the order notes feature which is available within your theme setting to collect your customer information on the cart page.
To enable your order notes, please follow the instruction below:
I hope this helps you.
Just use the company name that is built in and change the wording of the "company name" to whatever you like using the built in system for changing the default wording in your theme. https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/customizing-themes/language/change-wording
