How can I add a product only to POS without displaying in the main store?

Hi everyone.

I was going to add products to POS which I don't want to show in the main Shopify store. So I was going to follow the instructions but couldn't even overcome step #1:

Step 1: Tap + button

Tap the + button on the Shopify POS checkout screen

There is no + button in the Shopify POS checkout. 

Hope someone can help me!

Exactly.

There are some products that we want to sell only in-store but not online.

Have you go through the shopify instuctions for the POS? If not please see there is better iinstructions and the video for the POS.

as I said I can't even get past the first step because I don't see on the screen what they are asking for. 

But looking for a video might be a good idea. thank you.

How I was able to do this was by adding a new product in my regular Shopify admin, then in product status I un-checked every sales channel except point of sale.
