How can I add a text section to the checkout page?

Is there anyway to add a text box to the checkout section in order to add a descriptor, ie " charges will appear as [blank] on statement?

Hi @DustinC 

Unfortunately, you cannot tinker with the Checkout unless you are on a Shopify Plus plan. 

However, if you edit your Languages, inside the Checkout tab, you might be able to repurpose a specific line that is meant for taxes for example to be extended with the content you might need.

Hi JHKCreate - Thanks for the info!

Can you confirm this is still the case? I see can see these options in the backend but do not see them showing on the frontend after being set. Is there a "new/improved" way to solve this? - It's currently stopping my client for getting Merchant Account approval.
