How can I add a TikTok link to the footer in the Narrative theme?

Hey, i use the Narrative theme. And there is no option for TikTok social media link in footer. Can you help me to add this?

Hey there, @Mario_Z. Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community with your theme question! It's nice to meet you!

Narrative is one of our older, first party themes so I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a built-in footer section for TikTok. It was really until the pandemic that TikTok took off as being an incredibly powerful marketing tool! We've built some new Online Store 2.0 Themes that offer more customization and link support options that should help you provide a TikTok link! I'll give you a link to the page with all of these free themes here!

I downloaded Narrative to my own store and confirmed no built-in section exists. Adding an exact built-in section like this would require some coding work to be done for the theme. Shopify Support staff like myself can't advise on coding changes to make in your store, but I can't point you in some directions to get some support:

• Live Support - You can contact our Live Team using this link to let them know about the customization you're hoping to have done in your footer. Since this is a first party theme, our Theme Specialists may be able to assist you with making the change for free. I can't promise what the outcome may be, but this is always a worthwhile route to try!
• Menu Items - you can try adding some additional menu items to your footer menu that include a link to TikTok. I've seen many stores using older themes do this in order to get around the lack of the built-in feature. It actually doesn't look that bad, either - it's just words hyperlinked to 'TikTok' instead of an icon! A quick, easy way of providing the link without needing to do any coding!
• Shopify Experts - Another option for you to consider is getting help from Shopify Experts. These are third party individuals that make their living helping merchants make changes to their stores! They often scout these forums out looking to help folks, but they can also be paid for their services at this page here. Prices vary depending on who you end up working with, but I'm confident that an Expert can help you get this icon made!

You have some good suggestions here for some next steps on getting help, so I hope you're able to take advantage of them! There's also a chance someone jumps in here and advises on some coding, too!
