How can I add an affiliate network code to my checkout?

Hello, I would like to connect my Shopify store with an affiliate network. They have requested me to add the following code to the checkout:

Shopify. Shopify's checkout is a secure and controlled environment, and for security and consistency reasons, only Shopify Plus merchants have access to customize the checkout page.

If you're using the standard Shopify plan, you won't be able to add the code directly to the checkout page. However, you can explore alternative methods to track affiliate conversions and integrate with your affiliate network:

1. Custom Order Confirmation Page: You can create a custom order confirmation page on your Shopify store after the checkout process. On this page, you can add the affiliate tracking code provided by your network. You would need to redirect customers from the default Shopify order confirmation page to this custom page. Note that this method may not provide the same level of security and reliability as tracking directly on the checkout page.

2. Post-Purchase Emails: Another option is to include the affiliate tracking code in the post-purchase emails sent to customers after they make a purchase. The tracking code can be added to the email template, allowing the affiliate network to track conversions.

3. App Integration: Check if your affiliate network offers any Shopify apps or integrations. Some affiliate networks provide dedicated apps that allow you to integrate their tracking code seamlessly with your Shopify store.

Note that this is only displayed on the order confirmation page unless you have Shopify Plus.
