How can I add my card for subscription payment on Shopify?

I am just getting started, finding it difficult to pay for my store account subscription on Shopify web as I need help adding my card for payment...

Thanks for the quick response and providing that context.

 

In order to use your debit card as an option, your bank will need to allow international purchases. If you are unable to successfully use the debit card, my suggestion would be to reach out to your bank to see if there are any restrictions placed on the card.

 

They should have processes set up to provide you with additional support to accept the charge.

Thank you! I just checked the article on the billing FAQ. 

the options I was presented with is "CREDIT CARD" and " Paypal".

No "Debit card option".

my region is Nigeria.

the error message is: card is rejected while verifying, try a different card or contact the issuer.

I have used my visa virtual dollar card which I have used to purchase internationally before and also the 2 debit cards I have also used to buy things in dollars. those cards are on G-Pay.
