How can I add my own products to the popular products section in my theme?

My theme has a section for "Popular Products". I want to add my own products since the space is blank. I cannot figure out how to do this. Thank you.

Just to gather some additional context, could you let us know which theme you are using? Also, if you are able to provide your online store URL that would be very helpful.

If you are unsure about which theme is live on your store, you can navigate to the Theme Editor and select the three dots that are appearing towards the top left of the page. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
