How can I adjust product quantity by 6 in booster kitchen theme?

I need to increment and decrement product quantity by 6. I've tried attribute step="6" but it's not working. Almost tried available solutions on this issue. But it's not at all helping. Kindly please help me with this. I'm using the Shopify booster kitchen theme.
