Hello, I have a Domain with Green Geeks, and I changed the DNS setting as I was asked in the NameServer Details

to shop.myshopify.com - 23.227.38.65

Now there is another requirement to do the following yet my server does not enable this host connection

To authenticate your domain, you will need to create 4 new records with your domain provider:

  1. In a separate browser window, log in to the admin of your domain provider.
  2. Navigate to the area of your domain provider settings for DNS management (this may be called a zone editor or cPanel).
  3. In your domain provider’s site, create 4 new CNAME records with the host names and values below. (You do not need to edit the TTL settings).
Each new CNAME record should have one of each:

    • Host name: May also be called a "label" or "prefix"
    • Value: The URL destination your record points to

  1.
  2. Record #1
    Type
    CNAME
    Host name
    9lf._domainkey         Copy

    Value
    dkim1.e183d0670519.p845.email.myshopify.com                  Copy

    Record #2
    Type
    CNAME
    Host name
    9lf2._domainkey       copy

    Value
    dkim2.e183d0670519.p845.email.myshopify.com  Copy

    Record #3
    Type
    CNAME
    Host name
    9lf3._domainkey              Copy

    Value
    dkim3.e183d0670519.p845.email.myshopify.com   Copy

    Record #4
    Type
    CNAME
    Host name
    mailer9lf        Copy

    Value
    e183d0670519.p845.email.myshopify.com    Copy

  3. Click Authenticate domain on this page to complete setup.

As much as I would like to say it work perfectly it did not so I am asking for some aid please as my host is not accepting the IP address what do I need to do please. Thank you.

Sincerely,

BPriorByrne.

Hi there,

I'm having this same issue. I've tried to do this a few times over the last 2 years and still can't get Shopify and GreenGeeks to connect. Looking forward to hearing a solution to this problem.
