How can I automatically add a product metafield to the order page?

Hi everyone,

We are using a product metafield called lotnummer which is already passed as a line item property. It shows up correctly in the cart and at checkout. Now, we would like this lot number to also automatically appear on the order page, preferably as an order tag, so it is easily visible when processing orders.

We tried setting this up using Shopify Flow, but we couldn’t get the lot number to show up as a tag since it seems like line item properties are not available in Flow.

Does anyone know a way to automatically make this metafield visible on the order page without adding it manually?
