Hi, @3d-decoration!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
I can understand the urgency of this issue. There are a few causes that lead to this error related to your theme code or translation app. My first suggestion would be to head over to your language editor within the Shopify Admin. This can be accessed by clicking on Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit default theme content. From there, you should be able to see the notice for the missing translation. You can simply fill the words back in and then this error should be resolved.
If you made any changes to your theme, then you can look to revert your theme to a previous version. You can roll back files individually to a time and date before you made the changes. The next best option here would be to install a fresh copy of your theme.
Let me know if this helps! If you do not see the banner, feel free to provide some additional information regarding your theme and how you are translating your site.

Hey 🙂
many thanks! I have no errors an see the Email field, but if a write my email for a test in the form and click "submit", then another tab will open and an error message will appear stating that the page cannot be opened. This is our domain with /#. So for example www.hello.de/#.. Actually, I have an automation in it via Shopify Mail that a welcome email is sent if someone submit a new mail. But it already fails at the registration of the mail. I also have a Mailchimp account, but that doesn't work either.
Do you have any ideas?
Best regards
Frederic
Hi again, @3d-decoration!
Thank you for following up with that information.
I understand that you are currently using Shopify Mail and Mailchimp to send out these welcome emails but are having issues on what appears to be the front end side. Are you able to share some more information on how you set up the newsletter signup section on your store? For instance, did it come directly with your theme? If so, which theme are you using? Or, are you using an app to collect these emails? Did you input the newsletter section manually?
If you’d like, feel free to share your store’s URL and I can take a closer look as well.

Hey Marc,
I've only set up an automation in Shopify Mail to write a welcome email to new people who have signed up. The theme itself already contains newsletter forms: www.3d-decoration.de. But i add a newsletter section also for testing. Both not working. Just scroll for example to the bottom. I could store a Mailchimp URL there, but I haven't done it yet. The newsletter section for example from Shopify looks great and is enough.
I installed Shopify Mail, Mailchimp and One but i think Shopify Mail and One is good enough for sending newsletter in the future 🙂
Best regards
Frederic
Hi, @3d-decoration!
I appreciate the information.
It looks like there is an issue with how the newsletter section itself was set up, as opposed to the email provider that you're using. If you made any code edits yourself, I suggest reverting them back to undo any changes. However, you did mention that you are using the template that came with your theme so it's a good idea to reach out directly to the theme developers to see if this is a known bug or technical issue.
You also mentioned that you are receiving a few translation errors, so be sure to double check that all of your translations are inputted. This can be accessed by clicking on Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit default theme content.
That's good to hear! If you’re interested, we have a very informative guide on our Shopify blog on Email Marketing that will outline what email campaigns work best and how to make the most of every broadcast.
Feel free to share any updates!
