How can I correctly link different pages to individual menu items?

Hello there,

I know a lot of people have struggled with this but none of the solutions work for me.

We are building a new website with a new template but the old website is still on.

When trying to create new menu items and building new pages, example : our values and our story ( 2 different menu items) it goes all to the same page.

I'll explain better:

I created the page 'our story' and linked it in pages to a certain page.

I linked the menu item to said page.

Created the content.

Once I go to create a second page, linked to a different name, and different menu item, everything I do on said page goes on the one I talked about before.

I only have this problem with these 2 (or maybe 3 pages, also the FAQ page copies this page) the contact page works.

Hey @pogakiss

It seems like you're experiencing an issue where the content you create for one page is being duplicated or appearing on another page. This can be frustrating, but there are a few things you can check to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  1. Page Templates: Ensure that each page you create is assigned the correct template. Different templates may have different structures and content areas. Make sure you're selecting the appropriate template for each page you create.

  2. Page Content: Double-check the content sections within each page. Make sure you're editing the content for the specific page you're working on and not inadvertently modifying content from another page. Each page should have its own unique content blocks.

  3. Navigation Menu: Review your navigation menu settings to ensure that each menu item is linked to the correct page. Check the URLs or page references associated with each menu item to verify that they are pointing to the intended pages.

  4. Duplicate Pages: Confirm that you don't have duplicate pages with the same URL or handle. If you have multiple pages with the same URL, it can lead to content overwriting or merging. Ensure that each page has a unique URL or handle to avoid conflicts.

  5. Clear Cache: Clear your website's cache and refresh the page. Sometimes, cached versions of your website can cause display issues. Clearing the cache ensures that you're viewing the most up-to-date version of your website.

If the issue persists, it might be helpful to provide more specific information about the platform or CMS you're using to build your website. Additionally, reaching out to the support or community forums for your specific website builder can provide you with more tailored assistance to address this issue.
