How can I create a collapsible tab for product descriptions using the Dawn theme?

We are working on a site for a client using the Dawn theme and need to make the product description a collapsible tab.

Dawn does not allow the description to be a tab inherently so we are trying to create a tab with the product description as the dynamic source.

We cannot figure out how to create a dynamic source for product descriptions that works like the defaults for title, vendor etc. that just pulls the given product information to show in the tab.

Is it even possible? Because it seems like it should be fairly simple but we just cannot connect the dots.

Don't know why you want to make the product description pluggable however we have made something similar to the product description in the tab.
