Discuss and resolve questions on Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels, and site speed enhancements.
Hi
Not sure if this is the right thread for this but I want to find out how to create a new product page which is only accessed via a link (ie not visible or accessed on my site through my menu bars).
Can anyone help?
Any new product or page that is published is not necessarily linked in the top navigation (depends on your theme). But generally when you create a product, Shopify will generate a URL which you can use anywhere. You can also exclude a product from your Shop All or collections page with a bit of Liquid.
Did you ever figure this out? I'm trying to send links for exclusive products and offers, but i don't want them visible to everyone.

Do the following:
Go to Online Store > Pages.
Click Add page.
Enter a title and content for the page.
Be descriptive and clear when choosing your webpage title. The webpage title displays in the tab or title bar of browsers. It also appears as the page title in search engine results. Learn more about website SEO.
Under Visibility, select when the page should be published. By default, your new webpage will be visible when you click Save. Select the Hidden option if you want your new webpage to be hidden from your online store, or click Set a specific publish date to control when your webpage is published.
Click Save.
Optional: To make a published webpage appear in your online store navigation, add a link to it in a menu.
Unless you intentionally add this page to your online store's navigation menu, it will not show up. Therefore, in other words, once the page is created it will instantly work as you intended it to.

hi ,
I want to implement similar kindoff thing.
I got your point of creating a hidden page but in my case it would be product page having products which are visible on only that page and not on website as its a sale and offer promotion.
User should be able to add to cart or buy now and checkout similar to normal product page.
How would i add those products and make them visible on this hidden page and not on actual site.
Need urgent help on this
Hi there
I ended up doing something slightly different as I wanted a bespoke checkout for those products (which wasn’t possible) but you can create a hidden page as the previous poster has detailed.
Good luck.
Hey! I attempting to do the same but having issues also. What did you do?
Hey guys. If it worth anything, there is a workaround for hidden pages for special products.
Just create a collection, which you only publish on your page (no facebook, google etc).
In this collection you put your chosen products.
Then you just copy the webpage from the bottom (Search engine listing preview section) and you give that page link to whoever you want to give it to.
It is also excluded from the search bar.
good luck
Hi, To do this I'll need the product to be live though, which they could be accessible from customers anyway. It's surprisingly how customers can end up on pages you haven't even published on FB or Google. Have you tried this?
This really helped.
While doing this process, I found that I could just create a product and it will produce a link as well.
Once the product is created, in the top right corner click on view and there you have it.
Did this work out okay for you all? I am trying to make a secret shop page of items not for sale but for loan and or gifting (i work with stylists and influencers). the items on this page are going to be different than what I'm selling which is merch.. any tips appreciated!!!
Why do you say this excludes it from the search bar? That doesn't seem to be true
There is an easier way for you to create a new product page, but not visible for visitors when accessing your website, which is to set the new product pages as Non active status, so that it will not appear on your website, but you can still find it from Shopify backend and share them directly via page URLs.
You can change the new product page status into Draft or archive it, then it will not occur on the website and won't be found through your menu bars anymore.
I hope my answer here can help you! If you have further questions after checking, feel free to reply me here, thanks!
