Hi, how do I set up bundles of products that I want to sell together? i.e. I have a a selection of bathroom furniture that I need to record as separate products and each product has its own SKU and price but I dont want to sell them individually, I want to sell them as a package. Please can someone help? Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi @Neeko99
This is Jun from Bundle Kit. You would need to use a third-party app for this functionality.
You can create a bundle using our app and have multiple variant selections.
Bundle Kit bundles are built on top of normal Shopify products, and Shopify supports up to 3 variant options and 100 variants per product.
To achieve this, create a dummy bundle product first in Shopify. Using our app, convert this into a bundle. We have step-by-step instructions here: https://help.bundlekit.io/creating-a-mix-match-bundle
Here's a sample bundle product we have:
The bundle inventory is automatically set based on the available inventories of the bundle item(s), including the inventories of the variants.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Hi, I have installed this app and created a bundle but it doesn't seem to let the user select the size variants of each product when adding to the cart. For example my bundle includes a bath, but the bath has three different size options. So the user needs to be able to select the size option they want before adding to the bundle. Also the bundles don't seem to list the individual items that have been selected, is it possible to show this? Thanks in advance.
Hi @Neeko99
Thank you for the response. May I know if it's our app that you installed?
Jun
Yes, I hope so I followed the link in your previous message 🙂
Hi @Neeko99
Thank you for the response.
You will first need to create a dummy bundle product in Shopify.
nder 'Options', you can do the following:
Option name 1: Bath/name of item
Option values: all sizes
Option name 2: Item 2 (if any)
Option values: all variants (if any)
Option name 3: Item 3 (if any)
Option values: all variants (if any)
Using our app, convert this into a bundle. Our article provides a more detailed instruction: https://help.bundlekit.io/creating-a-mix-match-bundle
The bundle items are displayed at the end of checkout by default: https://help.bundlekit.io/hide-bundle-items-from-customers-order-status-page

Hi
There are 2 different types of bundle apps.
One type is creating custom pages in your theme and letting your buyers select different items as part of a bundle before check out. These are then added as individual order lines.
Other type is creating a virtual item that states in contains a certain set of components which sounds like what you are after.
Our bundleup app lets you create a product as any other and then link up the component SKUs in the background so no edits to your theme are required. There are 2 main function of our app:
1. Inventory Management
Our app lets you connect up products to correct SKUs and we then update their inventory based on the component stock level. So in your example you would bundle the 2 and 4 packs with the "Single" SKU. When the Single variant goes down in stock your packs will also adjust accordingly.
2. Order Fulfilment
When you sell a bundle product we can update the order post purchase by replacing the order line with the component SKUs so you can fulfil as you would any other purchase. This option also reduces the stock of the component SKUs which then updates inventory as per point 1 above.
