How can I deactivate my store without contacting customer support?

I tried to deactivate my store on 4 Dec and there was a message that said I have to communicate with costumers support to do that and because I couldn’t find an email or something to do that my store was still active and now I can’t deactivate the store unless I pay 250€ because my 3 months of 1€ are over… unbelievable and  unacceptable nice scam …

You can deactivate your store by logging in to your Admin > Settings > Plan > Deactivate Store. 


If it's prompting you to pick a paid plan when you try logging into your store, that probably means you've already deactivated the store. You can reach out to Shopify's support directly though, for confirmation.
