How can I define a different blog listing page for different blogs within our shop?

Hi we have two blog types defined within our shop and they both use the same template right now.

Specifically I want to make changes to just one of the two blogs listing pages (the page where a summary and thumbnail of each blog article is shown).

How can I achieve this?  Will this automatically happen if I name the templates to something specific a bit like how wordpress handles templating ?

Take this with a pinch of salt as it depends on your theme designs. But you can try:

1. Go to your theme files, and duplicate the template file currently used for blog listing

2. Renamed the duplicated template file to something else and make your changes here

3. Go back to your blog in admin and assign this new duplicated template to your blog
