How can I delete a metafield that does not have a definition

I imported a batch of metafields and a few had illegal characters (parenthesis and slashes). As a result, I am not able to create a definition to then delete the problematic metafield, nor can I delete a metafield that is not defined. Has anyone found a way to clean up unwanted undefined metafields?

Yes, I used Matrixify. We imported WooCommerce data, which came with a lot of product attributes that we do not need in our DB. I also used it to import a new set off metafields, and some had illegal characters like ( and / in the names.
