How can I display a specific collection's metafield image in the main navigation?

Is it possible to have a collections metafield (image) show next to the link for that collection in the man navigation?

I can get the metafield to show but it isnt showing the specific metafield for the link it associated with.

Happy to help, built so many stores I cant remember. Particular help with themes and setting up for overseas sales.
