How can I display 'was' prices and discount percentages on collection pages?

can someone help me with

1) some code to make my sale prices on collection pages show like this: 

rather than just this?

I've looked everywhere to find the "was_price" that's missing but shopify 2 doesn't have a prices liquid anymore.

2) and then also an alternative to show the % off rather than the prices all together?

I'm no coder but I can put stuff where I have to to make things work!!
